The PADI Open Water Course certification is the first level of scuba diving, the certificate is recognized worldwide and by the end of the course you will be certified to dive to 18 meters deep.

The course combines all the basic sides of scuba-diving from a theoretical and practical perspective. The course will advance your understanding of the ocean, and you will learn the basic facts, principles and concepts of scuba diving in theory class. Additionally, you will familiarise yourself with various techniques and methods that can develop your diving skills.

The theory is now done online, through eLearning. It can be done before you start the course, or during. Our Instructor will then review the main topics with you and answer any doubts that you might still have.

Who should take this PADI Open Water Diving School?

You’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves ? This is where it starts. To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required. It is however possible to start with a discovery dive.

Some also decided to get their Open Water certification as a couple, with friends or even between mother and daughter. It will remain a highlight for all of them !

What scuba gear will you use ?

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank.

All equipment at the Warnakali Dive Center is maintained by qualified personnel. All the required security equipment is also available on board of the boat.



Two Fish Divers is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Dive operator. This means that we have done thousands of PADI diving courses in Indonesia, have a dedicated instructor team, and are committed to provide the best in tuition as well as experience to our students.


Every year we buy new equipment that is used on our courses. Our used equipment is regularly maintained and so is also in good condition.


We limit our class sizes to a maximum of four – because we do not schedule courses but run them on demand, courses are frequently run with 1 or 2 students. This also means that courses will run according to your progress, and so we can be as flexible as you need us to be.


We have swimming pools in both Bunaken and Lembongan that are ideal for our beginner courses. In Lembeh, the easy access to our house reef offers an ideal training site.


We have a dedicated classrooms, use the most up to date course manuals, and make good use of all available technology such as computers and DVDs. We were one of the first to offer the new e-Learning option of the PADI Open Water Course, and we are the only center in North Sulawesi that offers instructor-level courses.
